National Weather Service technicians are looking into the issues with the radar and the amount of time the radar will be down is unknown at this time. The tornado began just west of US 24, south of Tonganoxie, between Honey Creek Road and north of Hemphill Road. EF 1 damage to an outbuilding and trees were surveyed just west of US 24.
