The Missouri statewide tornado drill is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at 11:00 AM CST. Last year in 2025 it was an active season during the spring and early summer months. There were five declared disaster events in Missouri. The state had at least 120 tornado warnings, with a notable tornado on March 14 that traveled 117 miles affecting Arkansas and Missouri. It would later be rated an EF-4. Sadly that year at least 16 people lost their lives related to tornadoes, three from flooding, and one from lightning.
