The highest temperature for the month was 93°F, recorded on March 21, with three days reaching 90°F or higher. The lowest temperature was 15°F, recorded on March 15, and five days saw temperatures of 32°F or lower. The mean temperature for March was 58.6°F, making it the fourth warmest March on record out of 98 available records! The total precipitation for the month was 2.96 inches, or 90% of the normal 3.29 inches. The wettest day was March 6, with 1.89 inches of rainfall. There were five days with thunderstorms, two days with heavy rain, and seven days with light rain. On March 15, the city recorded a trace of light snow. Additionally, three days experienced haze and 11 days saw fog. The average wind speed for the month was 12.7 mph, with the strongest wind gust from the northwest at 56 mph occurring on March 15.
