In 2025 the NWS offices at Little Rock, AR and at the NWS Paducah, KY have concluded that the tornado on March 14, 2025 that started in northeast Arkansas and ended in southeast Missouri was actually the same tornado. It was initially thought there were three separate tornadoes. That single tornado tracked 117 miles and was on the ground for nearly 92 miles in Arkansas and just over 25 miles in Missouri. The peak wind was estimated at 170 MPH with a maximum width of 1400 yards. It would later be rated an EF-4. Thankfully, there were only four reported injuries.
