October 2025 First Week Favors Above Normal Temperatures

The latest NOAA Climate Prediction Center (CPC) 6-10 Day temperature outlook through the first week of October favors above normal temperatures for the middle part of the country which includes the Ozarks region. The NWS forecast high temperatures across much of the Ozarks region for the first week of October 2025 are forecast in the low to mid 80s. Keep in mind at Joplin during the first week of October high temperatures are generally in the mid 70s and low temperatures are in the upper 50s. The warmer than normal temperatures may continue into the following week. The precipitation outlook during the same time frame favors near normal to below normal precipitation across the entire Ozarks region.
