On Monday, December 4th, 2017 a strong cold front moved through the Ozarks region on Monday afternoon. It brought with it brief heavy rain, gusty winds, small hail, and a report by law enforcement of a funnel cloud in McDonald County, Missouri. A spotter report in Webb City, Missouri reported a few street signs being blown over and pea size hail. In Bella Vista, Arkansas reports of small hail. The air behind the front was of Arctic origin.
